Use a V92 modem as an FXO card on Asterisk

x100p

The VoIP Wiki has revealed something important that you should know about if you plan on building an experimental Asterisk server (or a production one for that matter).  The X100P card sold until very recently by Digium as a single port FXO board was actually just an Intel PCI modem card that had been more or less private labeled by Digium.  But if you have the Intel version, here are the VoIP Wiki's instructions on how to use it with Asterisk—good stuff.  Thanks to Benjamin for also pointing out that the X100P is actually an Intel modem card.
